Shirley Lee Mabe

Bluefield - Shirley Lee Mabe, 61, of Route 4 Box 153-A Bluefield, died Thursday, April 23, 1998, at Princeton Community Hospital, Princeton.
Born April 15, 1937, in Bluefield, she was the daughter of Lelia Pack Scott of Route 5 Bluefield, and the late Harold Mark Scott. She had been a resident of Bluefield for 31 years and was a homemaker.
She was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the Montcalm United Methodist Women and was preceded in death by her husband Joseph T. (J.T.) Mabe and one son Mark Mabe.
Survivors include sons, Robert Mabe and wife Barbara, of Lincolnton, N.C., and Charles Ray Mabe and wife, Rebecca, of Bluefield; daughter Terri Mabe Kirby and husband Dennis, of Bluefield; sisters Brenda Belcher and husband Wayne, of Baistain, Va., May Hart and husband, Bill, of Bluewell,; brother, Harold Ray Scott and wife Alice, of Bluefield; grandchildren, Joey and Carrie Bratton and Steve and Mark Anthony Mabe.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel, Bluewell, with the Revs. David Ratcliff and Rick Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Courthouse Road, Princeton.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Ross, Tom Kirby, Terry Watkins, Harvey Johnson, Bobby Bishop and Roger Bratton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Willis Bishop, Wayne Belcher, Bill Hart, Dennis Kirby, Doug Rosell and Freddy Kirby.
