Mrs. Fayard was born in New Iberia, La., and was a longtime resident of the Coast. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in North Biloxi and was a member of the North Bay Senior Citizens Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emile B. Fayard; and a granddaughter, Lori A. Fayard.
Survivors include two sons, James C. Fayard and Jack H. Fayard, both of St. Martin; a sister, Marie Ross of Biloxi; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 10 stepgreat-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi with recitation of the rosary at 6:30 p.m. A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where friends may call one hour before service time.
Burial will be in Bosarge Cemetery in St. Martin.
