He was born Nov. 1, 1955 in Elwood,and was a lifelong Anderson area resident.
Mark was a 1973 graduate of Madison Heights High School in Anderson and received a master's degree in sociology and psychology from Ball State University in Muncie.
He served in the U.S. Army for 10 years and was a welder for several years.
Mark enjoyed fishing, skiing and being outdoors.
Survivors include his mother, Marjorie (Waymire) Adair; brothers, Patrick E. (Connie) Adair and Michael E. (Donna) Adair, both of Anderson; sister, Suzanne (Tom Hamel) Mann of, Bonney Lake, Washington; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and great nephews; and special friends, Deb and Tom Christ.
He was preceded in death his father, Jack E. Adair.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton, with Pastor Eric Neal officiating.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Lahm Chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Health- Hospice, 2015 Jackson St., Anderson, IN 46016 or American Cancer Society, Central Indiana Office, 5635 W. 96th St., Indianapolis, IN 46278.
