Mrs. Gerrit W. Brink, 79, of rural Orange City, died on Sunday, May 25, in the local hospital after a short illness.
Services will be held in the First Reformed Church in Orange City at 10:00A.M. Wednesday, May 28, with the Dr. R. Van Heukelom and Reverend Perry Raak officiating. Burial will be at the Sherman Township Cemetery near Maurice with the Van Etten Funeral Home in Charge.
Mrs. Brink, the former Anna De Roos was born in Springfield, South Dakota, on October 4, 1895. She was married to George Genant in South Dakota and one son was born.
On May 18, 1921, she was married to Gerrit W. Brink of rural Orange City, and lived the remainder of her life on their farm. Mr. Brink died January 17, 1957.
Survivors include two sons, George P. Genant of Springfield, South Dakota, Gordon Brink of Orange City, one daughter, Frances, Mrs. Lawrence Bloemendaal of Alton, and two step-sons, Myron Brink of Colfax, Iowa and Warren Brink of Muskegon, Michigan. She is also survived by one brother and one sister, nineteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
