Pauline E. Giambalvo, 72, of Hellam Township, York, died Monday morning at York Hospital. She was the wife of Walter J. Giambalvo.

The service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Messiah Lutheran Church, 886 Prospect St., York. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Viewing will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. The Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St., York, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Giambalvo was born Oct. 8, 1922, in York. She was the daughter of the late Luther and Pauline (Klinedinst) Lehr.

She was a life long member of Messiah Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Giambalvo also is survived by three sons, Jack M. Giambalvo and Jeffrey L. Giambalvo, both of York, and Thomas W. Giambalvo of Phoenix, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and five sisters, Dorothy G. Warner, Mildred Hoofnagle, Catherine Routson, Madeline Thompson and Helen Diehl, all of York.

Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Tony Bartel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church, 886 Prospect St., York 17403. 12-05-94
