Funeral services for Sammy Lynn White, 60, of Hudson, will be held at Shafer Funeral Home in Lufkin. Interment will follow at Old Union Cemetery.
Mr. White was born February 27, 1956 in Lufkin, the son of A.B. White and Ruth Minton White, and died December 31, 2016 in Lufkin.
Mr. White was an avid fisherman, hunter, and loved to go camping. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. White is survived by his son and girlfriend, Jeffrey Lynn White and Brandy Durrett; daughter and boyfriend, Tisha White and Darrell Patton; grandson, Trenton Bronwell; grandson, Mason “Buckshot” White; granddaughter, Trista White; granddaughter, Tina Howell; great nephew, Tytus Beauchamp; great niece, Kylie Beauchamp; niece, Cherita Ferguson; along with numerous nieces and nephews; sister, Patsy Riggs; sister, Rita Ferguston; and sister-in-law, Carolyn White.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Kenneth White.
