James C. "Jimmy" Locke, age 62, of Buffalo, departed this life to join his Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family.

He professed his faith in Christ as a young boy and was a member of Aetna Union Baptist Church in Hart County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Louise Locke; a son-in-law, Wesley Graham; his grandparents and a nephew.

He is survived by his wife, Caffey G. Locke; three daughters, Kimberly Graham of Hodgenville, Tina (James) Kelley of Magnolia and Stacey Hert of Hodgenville; a son, Michael (Linda) Locke of Hodgenville; five step-children, Anna (Wade) Sams, Travis Wilson, Steven Hughes, Jason (Heather) Hughes and Kay (Ricky) Crump; four sisters, Juanita Kay (Ray) Meredith, Lynda (Raymond) Barnes, Norma Jean Mann and Sandra (Tommy) Buley; three brothers, Ronnie Locke, Dennis (Latricia) Locke and David (Delia) Locke, one adopted sister, Jane Kelley; eight grandchildren, fourteen step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM (ET), Sunday, January 1, 2017, at the Aetna Union Baptist Church, 936 Aetna Furnace Highway, Magnolia, KY with Bro. Dennis Estes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 AM to 8 PM (ET), Saturday at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home and after 10 AM (ET), Sunday at the church.
