A daughter of the late Earl and Flora Spriggs Bradley, Helen was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and worked for the former Mercy Hospital for 30 years.

She is survived by a son, Joseph (Teresa) Bainer of Wheelersburg; two daughters, Cindy (Gary) Wise of The Villages, FL, Susan (James) Thuma of Portsmouth; two sisters, Wilma Allen of Flatwoods, KY, Virginia Hacker of The Villages, FL; one brother, Clayton of Greenup; daughter in-law, Jonna Bainer of Portsmouth; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bainer in 1964; two sons, John and Jim Bainer; three brothers, Glen, Jerry, and June Bradley; three sisters, Pat Miller, Shirley Martin, and Arlene Thompson; two grandchildren, Jason and Ricky Bainer.

Services will be 12 noon Thursday December 29, 2016 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor John Richards officiating. Interment will follow at Long Run Cemetery in Rubyville.
