Edna Ruth Barham Yearta, 91, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Friday, December 30, 2016 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
She was born November 22, 1925 in Ozark, Arkansas, to W. C. and Bonnie Catherine Anderson Barham.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Frank Wilson Yearta; three sisters, Mildred Woolsley, Hazel Buffaloe, and Faye Wofford; and two brothers, Frank and Jack Barham.

She is survived by one daughter, Verna Ruth Burns of Kibler; two granddaughters, Denalyn Gleason of Greenwood, Arkansas and Teri Rauls of Story, Arkansas; three great grandchildren, Neil Gleason of Greenwood; Ashley Gleason of Cabot, Arkansas; and Courtney D. Swain of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and one great-great granddaughter, Jaci Kendall Newman.

Graveside service will be held at Noon Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Jackson Cemetery in Ozark with Brother Matt Whitson officiating under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
