Betty was born on January 28, 1925 in Norwood to Albert F. and Elizabeth (Zimmerman) Riddagh.
Betty attended Glen-Nor High School where she excelled on the field hockey team winning numerous awards. She was an avid Phila. Phillies and 76ers fan and also enjoyed crossword puzzles and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Edward Yates and her second husband Harry Hayes; her three sisters, Helen Waite, Mary Jane Edelen and Dorothy Randall and her four brother, Albert Frances,Jr., William,, Frank and Frederick C. Riddagh.
Betty is survived by her daughter Donna (Dennis)Hugues; her four grandchildren, Matthew (JoAnn) Hugues, Nicole (Anthony) Starzi, Darren (Amy) Hugues, and Carla (Brian) Mitchell; her seven great-grandchildren; her great-great-grandson; her two sisters, Roberta Finegan and Anna Mae Hanna; her sister-in-law Lauretta Riddagh; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Service and Interment will be held privately.
