HEART AILMENT TAKES LIFE
OF MINING FIRM LEADER
Nick E. Floor, 72, 431 ith Ave., president of New Quincy Mining Co., died Friday at 5:10 p.m. of a heart ailment.
Mr. Floor was a livestock broker and was associated in business at Garfield Smelter from 1906 to 1925. He was also in the meat and grocery business at one time, and formerly owned the Golden Gate Tavern, 217 S. West Temple.
Born Dec. 25, 1887, in Bontia, Calavryta, Greece, he was a son of Efthimios and Hariklia Floor. He married Catherine Gianicopulos June 28, 1914, in Galesburg, Ill.
He is survived by his widow, Salt Lake City; four sons and four daughters: William N. "Bill", George N. Floor, Los Angeles; Steve N. Floor, Salt Lake City; James N. Floor, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. John (Angelina) Georgelas, Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Louis (Helen) Klekas, Fort Bragg, N.C.; Mrs. David (Teddy) Arnold, Grants, N.M.; Mrs. H.M. (Effie-Nickie) Thiese, Albuquerque, N.M. Also surviving are 29 grandchildren, three brothers and a sister: George E. Floor, Salt Lake City; Louis E. Floor, Stockton, Tooele County; Nicholas E. Floor, Mrs. Maria Fillos, Greece.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 279 S. 2nd West. Prayer service will be Tuesday at 7 p.m., 36 E. 7th South, where friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Friends call at the family home Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The prayer service will be held at the Desert Mortuary 36 E. 7th South Street, Tuesday 7:00 p.m. Interment in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. and at the residence, 431 8th Avenue, Wednesday, 11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Funeral directors, Deseret Mortuary.

Nick had a brother who was also named Nicholas E. , who apparantly remained in Greece., documented by the fact that he is mentioned in this Nick's own obituary.
