Marie was born August 17, 1965 in Boston, Massachusetts, the oldest child of Joseph P. White and Ann M. (Mullin) White. She moved with her family to Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 1977, and then to Overland Park, Kansas in 1980. She was a 1983 graduate of Shawnee Mission West High School.
A talented artist, she enjoyed painting and drawing, as well as creating hand-made cards and photo albums for her friends and family. Marie also loved animals of all types, particularly her beloved cat, Chuck.
Marie was preceded in death by her father, Joe. She is survived by her mother Ann, brothers Joe (Michele), Paul (Shelley), and Rich (Rachel) White, and sister Jeannie (Stuart) Whitenack. She also was survived by ten nieces and nephews - Keith, Nicole (Brian), Sam, Savannah, Katie, Katie, Olivia, Charlotte, Joe and Leo. Her remains were cremated, and her family scattered her ashes in several places she would have loved, ranging from the beach on Cape Cod to the Sierra Nevada Mountains, with the gardens of a certain art museum in between. She is, and will be, dearly missed by her family and friends.
