Glenn A. Werry Sr., 86, of Farmington, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
He was born in Canton on April 16, 1930 to Arthur and Stella (Engle) Werry.
He married Doneita Mae Johnson in Canton on June 19, 1954. She survives.
Also surviving are three children, Glenn Werry Jr of Edwards, Tamra (Harry) Fulton of Farmington, Debra Weber of Southlake, TX, five grandchildren Michael (Natalee) Fulton, Glenn T. Werry, Sarah (David) Presley, Nicholas Fulton, Rachel Weber, one great-grandson, Duncan Michael Fulton, three step-grandchildren, Faye, Jessica, and Tony Wuesthofen, two sisters, Joyce (Charles) Putman, Pam (Scott) Haggerty and one brother Charles (Janet) Werry.
Glenn served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Strong during the Korean War. He was the owner and operator of Star Delivery & Transfer Inc, Star Transport Inc. and Glenview Farms Inc.
He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2016, from 5-7, at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with a funeral held on Wednesday, January 4, 2016, at 1 pm, at the funeral home.
A private family burial will be at the Concord Cemetery located on his farm at a later time.
Memorials may be made to the Farmington Central Academic Foundation.
