Rose Merle Tow-Braden, 66, wife of John Allen Braden, died at Cameron Community Hospital. Rose and John were married 28 April 1945 in Quincy, Illinois. Mrs. Braden had been employed at the hospital in Cameron from its beginning, having opened the original hospital in 1948 in the capacity of Supervisor of Nurses and Director. At the time of the move into the new building in September 1955, she assumed the position of operating room supervisor and anesthetist.
