Pressley (Pat) Holler (94) passed away peacefully at Valley View Assisted Living in Long Prairie on Dec. 29, 2016, surrounded by her daughters.

Pressley Elizabeth Guynes was born in Wheeler, Texas on May 22, 1922, to E.D. and Margaret Guynes. On Feb. 17, 1945, she married Herman Holler and after his time in the Army Air Corps ended, they moved to Browerville. They were married for 56 years until Herman’s death in 2001.

Pressley was a homemaker and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was active in her community and church. Over the years she volunteered at the food shelf, in homemakers, teaching CCD and counting collection at church. Pressley enjoyed traveling with Herman and especially to Texas each year. She also enjoyed bowling, golf, sewing and most of all, she loved being with her family. Grandma Pressley found great pleasure in attending wrestling matches, basketball games, musicals, choir concerts, and dance shows of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was very important to her.

Pressley is survived by her daughters, JoAnne (John) Stevens of Austin, Texas, Jyeton Drayna of Browerville and Jackie (Joel) Skillings of Minneota; grandchildren John, Jeffrey (Kim) and Jason (Renee) Stevens, Scott (Jennifer), Todd (Dawn) and Paul (Lacey) Drayna and Ashley (Josh) Oistad, Tanner and Christian Skillings; great-grandchildren, Shelbi and Sophie Drayna, Kaelyn and Kennedy Drayna, Lyla and Lincoln Drayna, Pressley and Phoenix Stevens; her sisters-in-law Alice Mary Eldred, Rosanna Holler and Anita Guynes; son-in-law Mike Drayna and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and four brothers H.B., Jack, Clyde and Robert Guynes, two sisters, Augusta Beauchamp and Florene Beaty.

Services were held at Christ the King Church in Browerville on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, with Father Matthew Crane celebrating. Cross bearer was her granddaughter Ashley Oistad. Pall bearers were her grandsons John, Jeffrey and Jason Stevens, Scott, Todd and Paul Drayna and Tanner and Christian Skillings.

Gift bearers were her great-grandchildren Sophie, Kaelyn and Lyla Drayna.
