Charles E. Nanney, 80, of Louisville, died Sunday at his home.
He was a retired superintendent for the old Davis Construction Company, where he worked for 35 years, a member of the East Providence Methodist Church and an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, a daughter, a brother, a foster brother, five grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday at family-owned Joseph E. Ratterman & Son Funeral Home, 7330 Southside Dr., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday. Expressions of sympathy may go to Hospice of Louisville.
