Linda Sue Middleton Johnson, 54, of Jesup, died Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at her residence after a short illness. The Glynn County native lived in Wayne County the past year and was of the Church of God faith. She enjoyed working with her husband in ministry, being a “Prayer Warrior”, cooking, and working with crafts. She was predeceased by her dad, Charles Lawson Middleton and step-dad, Joel Benjamin Green.

Survivors are her husband, Rev. Dennis E. Johnson of Jesup; daughter, Amber Northern of Jesup; son and daughter-in-law, Jared (Karin) Johnson of Brunswick; mother, Annie Ruth Mosley Middaugh of Brunswick; sisters and brother-in-law, Debra (John) Stokes and Kathy Shattuck of Brunswick; brother and sister-in-law, Michael (Chanda) Middleton of Brunswick; grandchildren, Christian Northern, Zayn Northern, Khloe Johnson, and Autumn Johnson; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 1, 2017, at Darien Church of God with Rev. Tommy Whaley and Rev. Harold Edenfield officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery in Townsend. Active pallbearers will be family.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 prior to service at the church.
