Friedrich Joachim Christoph Wilhelm Behnecke was the son of Joachim and Margaret Dorothea Behnecke. He came with his family to America in 1853. His wife, Catharina Maria (Fischbeck) Behnecke had died in 1846 and was buried in the town of Ahlum. Her parents were Carsten and Margrete (Gerds) Fischbeck.
