Nell Brandon Reavis, 95, a native of Yadkin County, NC, died on December 25, 2016 at the Hospice Home of Alamance County. Nell was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Sallie Bet Brandon of Yadkinville; her husband, J. Alan Reavis of Asheboro; a son, Charles Alan (Chuck) Reavis; and sisters, Virginia (Wade) Hobson, Nancy (J.D.) Hutchens, and Ruth (Major) Simmons. She is survived by her son, Steve (Candy) Reavis of Elon; grandchildren, John (Christy) Reavis, Scott (Melanie) Reavis, Rebecca (Chris) Knox, and Sarah Reavis; and by one sister, Ella Mae (Charles) Dobbins of Georgia. In addition, she has nine great-grandchildren: Kaden, Jonathon, Alan, William, Ellie, Brandon, Logan, Adalyn and Carter. The graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 on December 28 at the Bethel Baptist Church cemetery of Yadkinville, NC.
