Mrs. Aldsworth was born June 7, 1920, in Asheville and was a daughter of the late Porter and Sally Buckner Peebles. She was married for 57 years to Henry J. Aldsworth, who died in 2001.
Nancy had lived in Charlotte for the last eighteen years, currently residing at Brookdale East(Wilora Lake). She would like to thank the staff for the care, patience and understanding provided to her. Nancy liked to keep herself busy by knitting, crocheting, playing bingo, and being a Carolina Panthers and Tarheel fan.
She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Charlotte and a former member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Asheville.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Thompson (Jerry) of Charlotte, NC; son, Richard Aldsworth (Sheila) of Williamstown, WV; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Fr. Dean Cesa officiating.
