Bobby Jackson Bullard, 91, of Lake Murvaul, passed away on December 27, 2016, at his home. He was born on May 11, 1925, in Dardanelle, Arkansas to Doler Pat and Bennie Mae Boothe Bullard. Mr. Bullard served in the U.S. Army during WW II and was honorably discharged. He lived most of his life in Delhi and Tallulah, Louisiana, where he owned and operated service station businesses. In 1970, he moved to Carthage and sold Culligan Water Conditioners for 10 years, then worked for the CISD transportation department for 5 years. Mr. Bullard married Katherine Ann Weyant on in 1982. He was a contractor in the area for the Dallas Morning News. Bobby loved people and was a delight delivering the newspaper to the local stores early in the morning. One of his biggest assets was his friendly and happy attitude with a firm belief in God. Mr. Bullard was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Bobby Jackson Bullard, Jr.; brothers, Winfred and Sammy Bullard; sister, Ola Jane Bullard; and sister and brother-in-law, Audrey and Marzelle Melton.
