Mrs. Hagins was born March 15, 1942 in Hampton County, a daughter of the late George H. and Emmie Brunson Hadwin. She had lived in the Lancaster community for many years and retired to her home near Estill. Mrs. Hagins was a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Surviving are: Husband: Johnny L. Hagins of Lancaster; Son: John Keith Stokes of Estill; Step Son: Steve Hagins of Elgin; Step Daughter: Cindy Hagins of Lancaster; Brothers: Ben Hadwin of Estill and George Hadwin of Hardeeville; Grandchildren: Katie Stokes of Bamberg, and Jennifer Eury of Lancaster; and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Mrs. Hagins was predeceased by a Grandson: John Kevin Stokes.
Graveside services will be 2 PM Saturday in the DeLoach Cemetery near Estill. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8 PM at the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
