Susan and Daniel had one child a daughter who was named after her mother Susan E.

It is believe Susan is buried in Burleson County, Texas.

Second wife Isabelle "Belle" Hollingshead born 1858 Coosa County, Alabama and died January 1885 Burton, Washington County, Texas.
Daniel and Belle were married September 9, 1874 Lee County, Texas
Daniel and Belle had 3 children: Carrie, Emma, and Annie.

Belle died with a few days of giving birth to their 3 child Annie She was born Jan 8, 1885 Washington County, Texas

Third wife was Lucille Summerlin married October 2, 1890 Lavaca County, Texas. Daniel and Lou had 2 children Helen and Truitt.

Daniel Patterson Airhart was a very colorful person. He was affiliated (pastor) with 22 Baptist churches in Texas and was responsible for the construction of nine.

Just prior to becoming a Baptist minister, "Pat" was living in the area of Bastrop, Texas. There were some bad hombres in the area and some were known to be horse thieves. They knew who they were but couldn't find them.

Since "Pat" Airhart was a fiddle player and singer, he was known for his parties. The vigilantes convinced him to throw a party and the thieves made the mistake of attending.
