CHARLES F. PARKER SR., 77, of Huntington went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 5, 2006, at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born April 26, 1929, in Huntington to the late Tenny G. Parker and Ruth Davis. His wife, and sister, Hazel Parker, also preceded him in death. He is survived by his children, Jane and David Stacy, Chuck and Johnna Parker, Phillip Parker, Nathan Parker, Vicky and Woody Lewis and Mark Parker, all of Huntington; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was a retired tile setter from Frank B. Groves Tile Company and was a member of the Brick Layers Union. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2006, at Beard Mortuary with the Rev. Keith Watters officiating. There will be a private family burial.
