He was a Quaker; a World War II Navy veteran; and retired from Missouri Pacific Railroad.
Surviving are his wife, Mary; five daughters; one son; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister, Jennette Leatherman.
Services are 3 p.m. Thursday at Colvin Funeral Home, with burial in Columbia White Church Cemetery with military rites. Visitation is 1 p.m. to service.
