OBITUARY. Majorie Louise, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Keen of Bloomington township, near Lamoni, Iowa, passed away August 28, 1917, after an illness of five weeks whooping cough being the main cause. She lacked three days of being one year old.

She had apparently passed the crisis but the vitality could not pull the brave little sufferer through, and the result came as a shock to its parents and relatives.

The funeral service was conducted from the residence of Elder Gomer R. Wells, where a large concourse of friends and neighbors assembled and attended the interment in Rose Hill cemetery, Lamoni.
