Jacob Adams

Son of Mrs. Lydia Adams of 716 Second avenue, died at 1:25 Monday afternoon at his home. Death was due to tuberculosis. Jacob was born in Juniata, Feb. 2, 1890, having reached the age of 22 years six months and eleventh days.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran church and has always been identified with the Y.M.C.A., and among the boys has a host of friends. He is also a member of the Knights of Malta, Trinne Lodge No. 201.

He is the second youngest of the family and is survived by his mother Mrs. Lydia Adams; brothers; George W., resideing in Greenwood; sister, Mrs. Dorris Burkholder, of Salmaca, N.Y. and Miss Mary Adams of 716, Mrs. Joseph Tassio of 803 First avenue, Altoona, and the youngest child being Elias.

The funeral services will be held in Trinity Lutheran church Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, and the pastor of the deceased, Rev. S.J. Taylor, D.D. will officiate.

Interment will be made at Greenwood cemetery. Mr. Jacob Adams, better known as Jake, among the boys, was a car inspector in the west bound repair tracks and was held in high esteem by all who knew him.

He has been failing from the dreaded disease since the twenty first of January, until the angel called him across into the happy beyond.
