Resident of Clayton County Laid to Rest
Elkport -- The death of Mrs. Margaret L. Goodsell, 85, occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Michael Stence. Deceased was born in Ireland and came to the United States in 1852, settling in Clayton County. In 1860 she was married to Jerome Goodsel, who preceded her in death several years ago. She is survived by four children: Mrs. Nettie Kriebs and Mrs. Michael Stence, Elkport; Henry Goodsell, North Buena Vista, and William Goodsell, Los Angeles.
She was a faithful member of the Catholic Church. The funeral was held Monday, Rev. Goetzinger officiating. The funeral was largely attended by relatives and friends.
