Dies Sunday Evening In Local Hospital

Walter O. Anderson, 56, a resident of Park County for 23 years, died Sunday evening in the Park Hospital after an illness of six months. Anderson became ill last December and some time ago submitted to an operation in a hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He returned here a week ago and had been in the Livingston Hospital since that time.

The body was removed to the Cloyd Mortuary. Funeral arrangements are pending.

Anderson was born on April 26, 1895, in Houston, Minnesota, and spent his early life in that part of the nation. He came to Park County in 1928, settling on Mission Creek, where he resided at the Talcott cabin. He constructed rustic furniture until failing health forced him to terminate his activities.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Erickson of Tacoma, Washington, Mrs. Abby Anderson of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Mrs. Helen Vandenberg of Wisconsin and four brothers, Carlisle L. Anderson and Mandius Anderson, both of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Arthur Anderson of Carver, Minnesota and Otto Anderson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
