Marion Ann Ledbetter passed away early Friday morning at the Greenhouses in Yazoo City.
Funeral services were Sunday at Benton Methodist Church.
Marion Ann was the oldest child of Terrell and Bessie Stubblefield of Benton. She had two Sisters, Bess Powell (Harlon) and Mary Sue Shipp (Jimmy). She had one brother, Marlin John Stubblefield (Linda).
Marion Ann taught school at Bentonia early in her career and then she taught at Benton Academy for 32 years. In all her years of teaching, she taught every class but second grade. She loved all her students, and they loved her.
She was preceded in death by her dad and mom, Terrell and Bess Stubblefield and her grandson, Justin Ledbetter.
Marion Ann is survived by her husband, Roland Ledbetter and her four children, Leslie Ledbetter (Cynthia), Terrell Ledbetter (Pam), Nora Pierce (Bill), and Marion Davis (Vince); nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
