She leaves her companion of many years, Lyle (Jack) Oesterle; and her three sons, John Christian, Robert Christian and Donald Christian.
Her sister preceded her in death.
Born Oct. 24, 1926, to Florence (Peterson) Reed and Beckham Dye, she married John R. Christian in 1945. She raised her family and was later a birth certificate clerk at Methodist Hospital.
Burial will be private.
