Mr. Myers, who was born in Philadelphia, had resided in Camden since he was a year old, passing the whole period in the Parkside area. He had lived at the Kaighns ave. address since 1911.
He drove horse cars north on 2nd st. and south on 3rd st. for the old Camden and Suburban Railway Co.
Mr. Myers was a member of Ionic Lodge 94,, FAM; Siloam Chapter, Cyrene Commandery 7, Crescent Temple, Camden Lodge of Moose 111; a life member of the Camden Janitor's Association and a director of the Guarantee Building and Loan Association.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Mabel L. Myers and Miss Anna A. Myers, both at home; a brother, Charles Myers, Los Angeles; a sister, Mrs. Annie Gardner, Camden; a niece, Mrs. Joseph Barnett, Camden, and several nieces in California.
Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Holl Funeral Home, 811 Cooper St. The Rev. Edward B. Cheney, pastor of Parkside Methodist Church, will officiate. Entombment will be in Harleigh Mausoleum. friends may call at the funeral home Thursday night.
