Wanda “Ruth” Anglesey, 80, of Ammon Idaho passed away while living at the Teton Post-Acute Care, Sunday, December 18, 2016.

Ruth was born on January 20, 1936 to Edward and Wanda Gallup. She grew up and attended schools in Ririe, Clark, and Graduated from Rigby High School. After high school she attended Ricks College for a half a year and later went to Beauty College in Idaho Falls.

Ruth married David Rushton on January 9, 1959 in Clark Idaho. Ruth and David later divorced. On May 3, 1991 Ruth married Richard “Lyle” Anglesey and was later sealed to him in the Idaho Falls Temple on May 16, 1998. Their children are as follows, daughters, Suzanne (Todd) Pavey of Rigby, Tamara Anglesey of New Port, Oregon, sons, Lynn (Michelle) Rushton of Menan, Terry (DeAnn) Anglesey of Holtes Texas, and Ricky Kent (Janet) Leavett, of Utah.

She loved to dance, going hiking and fishing in the mountains. She liked to oil paint and especially loved working on her yard and flowers. Ruth taught in the primary and held different positions in the Relief Society. Outside of church she worked as a beautician and owned Ruth’s Beauty Shop in Rigby for 60 years.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Passey, and Tamara Anglesey, a son Lynn Rushton, a brother Max (Rebeca) Gallup of Idaho Falls, sisters, Alice Hill of Idaho Falls and Donna Hannan of Idaho Falls. As well as 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents, Edward and Wanda Gallup, sons, Terry Anglesey and Ricky Kent.

Funeral services will be held Thursday December 22, 2016, 1:00pm, at the Tiebreaker 26th Ward LDS Church building on 1100 Tiebreaker Dr. in Ammon. Prior to the service the family will have a viewing starting at 11:30 am until the time of the service. The family will visit with friends and family Wednesday December 21, 2016, at the Tiebreaker 26th Ward from 7:00-8:30pm. Burial will be at the Ririe Shelton Cemetery. Services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
