Diane Baptie passed away peacefully on Nov. 27, 2016 with her loving family surrounding her. She fought a seven year battle with cancer. She was 70.

Diane was born in Los Angeles and lived in Fresno, and Magalia, California before settling in Penn Valley to eventually retire. She worked as a secretary, then property manager and finally for a homecare service taking care of the elderly in the Penn Valley area. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and finding treasures at the local thrift stores.

She is survived by her daughter Tina (Craig) Silva, and son Robert B. (Laura) Kunesh; as well as her 3 loving step children Julie Baptie, Karen (Mark) Baptie and Steven Baptie; grandchildren Jacob Silva, Alexander and Andrew Kunesh; as well as step grandchildren Robin Mack, and Stevie; step great-grandchildren; Kaitlyn and Zachary Truksa, and Aria. She was preceded in death by her second husband Dale Baptie; and step-granddaughter Cory Mack.

Private services will be held at a later date.
