Funeral services for William Harlan Curtis, age 78, of Cookeville will be held Wednesday, December 21st, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Presley Funeral Home with Bros. Frank Davis and Danny Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 20th, from 4:00 PM, until 7:00 PM, and Wednesday, from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM at Presley Funeral Home.
Mr. Curtis passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born Monday, May 16, 1938 in Putnam County, Tennessee to the late John H. Curtis and Lettie Opal Anderson Curtis.
Harlan will be remembered as a loving husband, Daddy, and "PA". He was a hard worker, loved to joke and laugh. He was always willing to help others around him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Lucille Curtis.
He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Julean "Judy" Curtis of Cookeville; a daughter, Patricia Curtis of Murfreesboro, TN; a granddaughter, LeAnna Hutchings of Murfreesboro, TN; a sister, Barbara Smoot of Smyrna, TN.
