DILLWYN, Va.-- Willard A. Thomas, 89, passed away Thursday in Farmville, Va. He was born Oct. 5, 1914, in Buckingham County, Va., to the late Stuart and Annie Martin Thomas. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth P. (Betty) Thomas.
He is survived by a son William E. Thomas of Rocky Mount; a daughter, Carolyn T. Bolton and husband, Richard of Midlothian, Va.; a stepson, James Duncan of Staunton, Va.; one step-granddaughter and two step-great-grandsons; eight brothers and three sisters.
