Service for Glenn N. Bates, 81, will be at 2 p.m. today at the Riverside Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Burial will follow at Riverside with Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Bates died Sunday at Sacred Heart Medical Center.
Born in Utah, he came to Spokane in the 1940s.
Mr. Bates was a lineman for the Washington Water Power Co. for many years and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the WWP Trailblazers.
Survivors include four sons, Norman Pierce of Salem, Ore.; Richard McConnell of Bellevue, Wash.; Douglas Simonson of Sumpter, Ore., and David Simonson of Renton, Wash.; two daughters, Joy Casey of Fresno, Calif., and Donna Smith of Spokane; three sisters; one brother; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren
