James William Dunahoo, Sr. (Jimmy), age 66, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 6, 2016 after a long illness. Jimmy was born August 14, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio, a son to Charles and Margaret Dunahoo. He was a dedicated member of the Wide Creek Community Church. He enjoyed U.K. Basketball, Cincinnati Reds baseball, fishing, and spending time with his family. Jimmy retired from CSX railroad after 20 years.
He is survived by three children, James Dunahoo, Jr. (Carrie), Roxanne Evans (Jimmy), and Holly Warner, all of Beattyville; Five grandchildren, Michael Evans, Wesley Evans, Lois Dunahoo, Steven Warner, Tanner Warner, all of Beattyville; four brothers, Johnny Dunahoo, Sr. (Diane), Larry Dunahoo, Sr. (Marsha), Charlie Dunahoo, Sr. (Bonnie), Billy Dunahoo, all of Beattyville; two sisters, Mary Lou Dunahoo, of Beattyville, and Patty Saylor (David) of Richmond, Kentucky; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Margaret Dunahoo.
Pallbearers: Charles Ed Dunahoo, Larry Dunahoo, Jr., John Dunahoo, Jr., James Dunahoo, Jr., Wesley Evans, and Jimmy Evans.
Honorary Pallbearers: David Saylor, Steven Dunahoo, Charles Dunahoo, Sr., Larry Dunahoo, Sr., Johnny Dunahoo, Sr., Billy Dunahoo, Michael Evans, and Travis Chapman. Burial in the St. Helens Cemetery at 138 Hwy 2016, Beattyville, KY.Son of Charles and Margaret Dunahoo.
