Beverly A. Breithaupt, 71, of Columbia went to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, with her family by her side.
Beverly was born Sept. 23, 1945, in Sparta, Ill., to Lee F. and Seta M. Hern Easton.
On Aug. 16, 1968, she married Philip Breithaupt in Renault, Ill., and he survives.
She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Columbia.
Beverly touched many lives as a music teacher/director, home-school teacher, GED instructor and Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director of Teen Challenge International Mid-America.
Survivors also include Beverly’s sons, David Breithaupt of Fulton and Dean Breithaupt (Karen) of Columbia; mother, Seta Easton of Cuba, Mo.; brother, Aaron Easton (Jackie) of Cuba, Mo.; and grandchildren, Cameron, Olivia and Spencer.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at First Assembly of God Church, with a visitation before the service starting at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow at Columbia Cemetery.
