Services for Effie Moore Hopkins, 80, Van, were held at 11 a.m. September 14, in the Hilliard Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Mark W. Winskie and Mike Biggs officiating.
Burial was in Marvin Chapel Cemetery near Van.
Mrs. Hopkins died September 12, 1993, at her residence.
She was born March 18, 1913, in Van to Tom and Eva Mooreland Crocker, and was a lifelong resident. She was a housewife, former restaurant owner in Van and had worked in the dietery department at the Medical Center Hospital. She was also an artist, and member of the First Baptist Church, of Van. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Misty Michelle Smith.
