Mr. Hobbs was a native and lifelong resident of Walton County, Fla., and a member of New Harmony Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Dora Mae Hobbs; sons, Darrel Hobbs and Clarence Hobbs, both of New Harmony, and Ronald Hobbs of Jasper, Fla.; sister, Katie Yates of Greatna, Va.; brothers, Lawerence Hobbs of Pensacola, Fla., and Robert Hobbs of Panama City, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, at New Harmony Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy L. McNeil officiating. Burial will follow in New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
