Albert left school after the 8th grade to take a full-time job at the Proctor Lumber Company in North Chelmsford. At one point in time his friends called him "Zip." He was never referred to as Albert again, except by his mother.
Albert married Marion Ernella Scribner on September 11, 1915 at her father's camp at Nabnasset Lake, Middlesex, Massachusetts.
They moved to Concord, NH. and worked for the Concord Lumber Co.
He bought Marion's grandfather's home on Cottage Row. Later he build a house at 50 Ridge Rd. After the girls grew up and moved away he built a smaller house just across the street.
After the death of his wife, he moved to Largo, Fl. to be near Marion's sister, Bessie Holdsworth and her husband. When his health began to decline, he moved back to New Hampshire and lived in the Odd Fellows Home until his death.
