Robert A. Morgan, 87, Central, died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, at Harrison Transitional Care & Rehabilitation Center '97 Indian Creek in Corydon.

Born Aug. 19, 1929, in Adaire County, Ky., he was the son of the late Ed Lee and Clemine Collins Morgan.

He was formerly employed at Keller Manufacturing Co., Thorn-Orwick and the old Downtown 76 gas station, all in Corydon.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel J. Hadley Morgan; two brothers, Jim and Roy; two sisters, Catherine and Fannie; and a half sister, Martha.

Survivors include a son, Robert W. Morgan (Kathy) of Central; a brother, Noel Morgan of Russell Springs, Ky.; a sister, Mary Rose Hill of Corydon; two half brothers, Johnny and Marvin Morgan, both of Columbia, Ky.; four grandchildren, Patrick (Mary), Christopher (Samantha), Jason (Billie) and William (Kayla) Morgan; and eight great-grandchildren, Shelby, Michael, Malakhai, Peyton, Savannah, Joseph, Aubrey and Knox Levi Morgan.

Visitation: Friday, Dec. 16, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 17, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

Funeral: Saturday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Central Cemetery.

Officiant: Pastor Robert Pryor.

Pallbearers: Michael, Jason and Billy Morgan, Clifford Brown, Clark Hardsaw and Larry Ragains.
