Jane Dickey was born September 24, 1924, to the late Warren and Lydia Snavely. She battled through adversity of losing her mother and a near fatal bout of scarlet fever. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband; George, of 40 years, and her brother, Warren, Jr. She is survived by her sisters, Marthann and Barb, and half brothers, Larry and Joe Snavely.

She leaves behind a son, Champ (Donna), and a daughter, Becky (Luis Hernandez) to mourn her passing. Also, her grandchildren, Krista Klumpp, Brittany Galosi, Tiffany Manners, and Erik & Matthew Hernandez; her great grandchildren, Colby, Connor, Liam, Cole, Aidia, and Dominic; four step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.

Nanny was a foundation block of old Rutherford, as an original member of the Ladies Auxillary of VFW Post 1213, and instrumental with the Rutherford Youth club of the 50's. She was a member of a Pinochle card club for 60 years. Jane was a damn good bowler and bowled well in her 70's. She retired from Sears with 20 years of service and loved the woods and camping. She loved her family and will live in our hearts forever AND she had the misfortune to be an avid lifelong Phillies fan.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 16, 2106 with a visitation one hour prior to the service, in Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
