Tanglewood Tales. On the second day of this month, the baby girl of Mr. and Mrs. L.G. Treadwell overturned a pot of coffee, receiving the boiling contents on its breast and stomach. After suffering intensely for over a week, on the ninth the angel of death released the little spirit and on the tenth the wee form was laid to rest in the Hugh Wilson cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Treadwell have the sympathy of the entire community. When this sad accident occurred Mr. Treadwell was about moving to Sillsbee, and on Thursday left, taking his wife and remaining two children with him. The family will be greatly missed. The Rockdale Reporter and Messenger (Rockdale, Tex.), Vol. 38, No. 32, Ed. 1 Thursday, October 19, 1911
