Dennis Lee Collins age 74 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at his home.
The son of James Madison "Jim" Collins and Ola M. (Royce) Collins was born on March 11, 1942 at Piercetown, Arkansas.
He was of the Pentecostal faith and had worked at Flexsteel in Harrison. He had lived most of his life in Newton County.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Eunice Lee Collins on July 26, 2016; three brothers Devoe Collins, Esker Collins and Glen Collins and one sister Louise Greenhaw.
Survivors are his daughters Sheila and John Slaght of Mt. Judea and Michelle Collins and Kim Elliott of Harrison; two brothers Denver Collins and wife Mary of Jasper and Joe Wayne Collins and wife Brenda of Jasper; two granddaughters Alesha Clayborn and Latrisha Lawrence and husband Stacy; five great-grandchildren Chase Clayborn, Kaiden Clayborn, Gabriel Clayborn, Kiana Lawrence and Zane Lawrence; special friends James and Rhonda Carter of Jasper and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Brother Jimmy Bohannon officiating. Burial will follow in the Campbell-Ricketts Cemetery at Vendor.
Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Greenhaw, Craig Collins, Jody Collins, James Collins, Stacey Collins and Garry Reddell. Honorary pallbearers will be James Carter, Hubert Bolin, Harold Collins, Rex Robinson and Shaunie Reddell.
