and attended Harrison High School.
He was born Sept. 18, 1938, in Chicago, IL, the son of Raymond Arnold, Sr. and Theresa E. Arnold.He was raised in Harrison, AR, and attended Harrison High School.

Ray served in the US Navy from 1955 to 1959.He worked as a machinist, pipe broker, and truck driver, and was an avid fisherman during his lifetime.

Ray is survived by:
His wife, Beverly Arnold (of the home)
Step-son, Joshua Dudley (of the home)
Three sons: Reed (Republic, MO, Rip (California), and Robert Lee Collison (son of Beverly Jean Collison, Springfield, MO)
Daughter, Jennifer Chilton (Pleasant Hope, MO)
Mother, Theresa Arnold (Harrison, AR)
Four brothers - Bob (LA), Rick (GA), Rex, and Roy (both of Harrison, AR)
Two sisters - Lois Norvell (KS) and Theresa Kowalczyk (OH)
He is also survived by in-laws, stepdaughters, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Memorial services were held at 2 pm Thursday, Dec. 28, 1995 in Christian County Elks Lodge, Ozark, MO.Local arrangements were made by Walnut Lawn DeGraffenreid-Wood Funeral ome, Springfield, MO.
