Baby Nellie's parents were Ray or Rae D Swezy born in Marysville and Hulda Swezy born in Kansas. In the 1910 San Francisco census Rae is listed as a Chauffuer at a garage, there are two children listed, Charles Rae 6 years old and Loretta 3 years old.
In the 1920 Oakland census Ray was working as a Brakeman for the Railroad, in 1940 Ray worked for the Oakland school district as a Gardener.
Baby Nellie is buried in her Great Grandfathers plot, he was Gabriel Norton Swezy who played a large part in the laying out of the city of Marysville in 1850, and later in partnership with Stephen J Fields opened the first law office in Marysville.

E. Swezy,in Marysville on Sunday morning, was buried in the family plot at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon by Undertaker R. E. Bevan.
