Born January 1, 1913, in Hamby, Lou was a daughter of the late Jasper and Leona (Wilson) Jones. She was reared in Haskell County and attended the Matson School. Lou moved to Hamlin in 1935 and worked as a nurses aide at the Hamlin Memorial Hospital for 47 years. Lou moved back to Haskell in 1998 and was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husbands (Bill Carrigan, Roy Stinnett, and Slim Crow), one brother, and two sisters.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, W.D. and Jean Carrigan of Abilene; two daughters, Wanda McBeth of Clovis , N.M., and Eloise Reese of Lubbock; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
