Mr. Charles W. Simrell, age 89, of Obion, died Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.
He was born in the Cloverdale Community on October 7, 1927, the son of the late Henry and Argie Fitzpatrick Simrell. Mr. Simrell was a farmer and an Army Veteran. He is survived by two sons and their wives Preston and Mary Simrell of Obion and David and Ann Simrell of Union City; a brother and his wife Gerald and Delandus Simrell of Obion; three sisters Louise Eckholoff of Memphis, Marine Higgins of Fulton, KY, Bernice Neunsinger of Des Moines, Iowa; three grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 10 at Zion Cemetery. Bobby Stewart will officiate. Pallbearers will be Mark Simrell, Tyler Pollock, Steven Simrell, Ray Simrell and Shane Sanford. There will be no public visitation.
